If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many who understand the deep hurt you feel. Grief is a confusing time when you feel isolated and have any questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You do not have to go through the grieving process alone.
Faith Lutheran Church will be hosting 13 weekly sessions beginning on Thursday, August 13, 2026. To register for classes, please email the church office at church@flcgodfrey.org or contact the church office at 466-3833, ext. 200.

Invite your family & friends and come join the fun at our annual church picnic and community food drive which will be held at Faith. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and bingo/games and activities will follow lunch at 12:30 p.m. Meat, drinks, homemade ice cream and cookies will be provided. Please bring your lawn chairs and a side dish to share. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the hallway or call the church office if you plan to attend.
We will also be hosting a community food drive to support the Crisis Food Center in Alton and the Brighton Food Pantry. list of non-perishable items. All donated items can be brought to church and placed in the marked bins. Please help us support these organizations as they continue to meet the needs of those in our community!
